ipod people-where do you put yours??

I quite like to listen to my ipod when pootling about and doing my chores with the the horses,and was thinking would be nice when riding on my own to have it with me then.Not a problem up to now in regards where to put it as always have a coat on and goes in appropriate pocket,but thinking ahead to weather warming up and not sure how will carry it when riding or just seeing to them??

Obviously if riding would be sensible and only have it on when appropriate and in a manner that made it safe to do so,but if have no coat on or if am wearing my BP (very rarely I admit but just in case I decide I can live with feeling like a restricted turtle after all;)) where could I put the ipod??

Not sure if there are holders can get like for phones,or if anyone has come up with ingenious ideas of their own through trial and error??

My nano is on a string that goes round my neck as it goes used at the gym and at stables.

My Blackberry holds most of my music as well and it's also in a pouch that goes round my neck as winter and summer it's just easier and safer :)
 
Ooh never even considered the idea of having it around my neck,thanks Nikki hun:)

You don't find it moves/bounces around a lot and get's annoying??
 
Nope lol it's under my tshirt ans both have a little pouch so not rubbing against my skin either, got them both from amazon I think, the string has a wee adjuster that means it can't go over your head unless you change it but it wouldn't tighten and strangle you should you get it caught :)

I think I've perfected this after much experimentation with arm straps etc

I place my iPhone under where the straps of my bra meet the bra and the material fans out. It's not so precarious as under a strap! iPhone is placed face down at a 45 degree angle with speaker pointing towards my chin

It's easily heard and very secure (I wouldn't recommend it when riding though just in case)

And no. I'm not posting a pic, hopefully the above makes sense!
 
Those putting it directly on skin with bra etc do beware as the condensation from your sweat will kill your phone over time! This happened to me hence why it's in the BB bold case that it came with and in the pouch.

Also means if I deck it phone and I arent parted mop any so easily, not had the chance to test this though *toucheswood*
 
I don't use my iPod touch for riding as its too big. I bought a shuffle instead and it just clips onto my top and you don't even notice it's there.

I knew there would be a few clever folks on here that would have tried and tested methods!!

I shall be checking out links for the pouch,and will try other methods mentioned to find what suits.

Any other ideas please feel free to share:)
 
without wanting to be an alarmist type, i would not recommend the phone in the bra option. The waves the phones need to operate can also damage DNA ( and lead to precancerous issues) and breast tissue is particularly susceptible to these.
