I'm in the process of filling out my IPS membership form, but I need this to be clarified for me

"Please return -
- Completed membership application (Must be at least one adult member, preferably the owner of the pony)"

Does this mean that one of my parents has to register with the IPS too, even though they don't compete?

If so, does it have to be an Adult Annual Membership (€60), or can they have Associate Membership (non-showing member) (€25) ????

Any help would be really appreciated

Yes one of your parents will ahve to register as legally you cannot be listed as the owner of the pony.
Owner must be over 18 as far as I know, its the same with the SJAI!

Hi, I am a member of the IPS. If you are under 18, then one of your parents will have to be a member of the IPS as the owner of the pony and will have to pay 60 Euros as the non-showing membership is for judges (i think).

Hope this clear this up for you. Also, if you joining for the 1st time you have to send in a birth cert.

What classes will you be doing? I did a lot of workers and my mare is now being ridden by a friend in the 15 hand workers. Might see you at some of the shows.
