Has anyone had this done my mare has a nasty injury to her deep digital flexor tendon in the pastern area and the vet has said this is the only treatment she is able to have, although he has said his not hopefull that she will be sound enough to be ridden, just thought I would see if anyone has had any miracles happen with it.

Morning! My mare had IRAP at Rossdales Newmarket, in her front fetlock about 3 years ago after she injuried her sesamoidian (sp) ligament. After the first one there wasn't much difference but by the 3rd there was a noticeable change! She is on bute now for the arthritis in the injured leg and is retired, but I feel the arthritis was improved massively but having IRAP. The vet warned me it maybe unsuccessful and it doesn't last forever but I'm glad we had it done. Good luck with what ever you decide.
