Well we are back in the mess of no insurance again for hunts in Ireland from Friday midnight. Hopefully it will be resolved.
In the big picture my personal belief is that this type of stop/start will permeate into other equestrian disciplines. We have the GN scenario playing out. At the same there is an ‘excited’ post on FB post about Badminton having some new fences that sound challenging. Where is the line on what’s a challenge and what’s too much. The GN coverage shows how much it is personal interpretation.
The hunts were easy picking to start with. If it is pushed out of existence the likelihood is that your preferred horsey activity will become a target. Careful what you wish for.
