I have found a couple of promising gypsy vanners over in ireland that I'm currently debating buying. Only not sure how to go about moving the fro Ireland to UK & a rough price I'd be looking at to move them. Any help greatly appreciated.

I used these guys last week - Co Meath to South of England Showground 350 euros plus 21% VAT.

I cannot recommend them enough - especially as I got let down by an English transporter at the last minute! They arrived in the most amazing, gorgeous, enormous rolls royce of a horsebox I had ever seen!

Super lovely lads and helpful too - hung around while I finished my class and loaded up pony into my trailer for me!

Tell them Fiona recommended you!

I've used Lusks in Lisburn a couple of times - around £200 - £250 per horse depending on pick up/drop off locations

We had jacksons back in may. £190 To come from clifden to kent and they arrived just as the guys arrived back from ireland so literally 2 days after they were bought in the ring. Usually it has taken at least 2 weeks.
The guys were lovely, calm and quiet and made sure the rest of the ponies on board were ok and gave them some hay before they set off again.

We did use another transporter who had a huge red lorry, very modern but it cost £300 to transport them and it took about 2weeks.

Just sent a horse to Scotland via Lusks - £350 -more than to other parts of Uk I think - but he had to be met in Dumfries and taken further north by another transporter. Fair price I think - horse arrived happy and chilled so that is all that counts I would say?:)
