Irish Draft Stallions in UK - chilled semen

Hi, I am searching for a traditional type pure Irish Draft stallion to use on my mare that is in the UK (avoiding Skippy lines) and offers chilled rather than frozen semen. Or has anyone since Brexit used chilled semen from Ireland without any issues or extra hassle to get it? My top choice is Cappa Cassanova but been advised importing at the moment could be an issue and also costly, courier, health certificate. So now looking at ones in the UK.
 
Kington Langley stud in Chippenham stand/collect from one - I’m pretty sure it’s called Greylands Hornpipe. Whether it’s a good example I couldn’t tell you as I only saw it briefly and don’t know a great deal about trad ID breeding.

Thanks, I've looked at that stallion as think his first offspring have just started their ridden careers but didn't realise he was so local to me so I may look into him a bit more
 
Bowland have Caerba Legacy which I would call bigger traditional and Hillview Farm Trevelyan who is smaller about 15.2hh I think. They also have frozen from Diamond Lodge and another stallion Classic Scot but I wouldn't call them traditional.

I have two by Archie one ridden and one foal . Both are fabulous, I would highly recommend him, but didn’t for you as he does have skippy on the fourth line .

It was probably just coincidence but I have come across a few quirky horses that all had Skippy breeding in them so it did put me off. Could just as easily been the dams side with each of them

We have a just 6yo mare ID x TB by Sandy's Light her great grandfather being Skippy, bought as a 3 yr old then broken and schooled by us, at 16.2 and still growing she has been very do able due to our patience with slow maturing horses, doing nice basic dressage and popping a fence nicely excellent in stable and field etc. so I guess we have been lucky, good luck in your search for a stallion.

He doesn't put quirks into his progeny, they all have good honest outlooks, super conformation and many have been very successful. Many of his mares are return coverings. I have followed him for 10 years now and yet to see any comment about problems in his stock. You might find the odd youngster for sale for a lot of money but very rare to find a ridden Archie for sale. I would use him again without a second thought.

Mine did not grow on to what I had hoped, but the mare was small so there was always that chance.
 
I would buy a Coppa Casanova in a heartbeat that’s what I would do if you can make it happen .
I spend quite a lot of time cruising the internet looking at ID’s .

Thank you, glad to see so many of you have not found quirky traits in the Skippy lines, must have just been a coincidence. This is why I like these forums as you can find out other people's experiences

Yes he is my first choice, although I've found steeped in luck is due to be available the end of May in the UK who is also on my wish list!
