Irish draught x clydesdale

Sorry, no but it's interesting that you've asked this. I have been looking for a very sensible weight carrier and was just thinking recently that IDxClyde would be a good combination. I have had Clydies before and I love them but after 2 bad experiences of having had to have them PTS prematurely through illness, I decided not to have a heavy horse again because their gene pools are very small. I shall watch with interest to see if you get any pics. Thanks, Benson

I have one although I think he is more ID with clyde sized head and feet. He is ex army and 17h and when I bought him he was advertised as a clyde x id but I can't confirm this. He does'nt have much feather but he is quite a large build and a good weight carrier although he is about 28 now so leading a quiet life. I'll try and post a photo when I can work out how.

This is my big lad!

I havent got one, and afraid i've not got any pictures, but i know someone with one. He's the typical clyde colouring, ID body with a clyde head! stands at about 16.1/16.2 isn't overly heavy, middle weight, but is a good weight carrier, barely any feather either. Very very gentle boy who loves his cuddles!
