Id can be good to ride aslong as you teach them right there just as safe as tbs
Ive worked with many tbs as i use to work in a stud also i use to race and sorry to all the other tb owners out there .
But come of ur high cloud and realise tbs are scatty horses with any horse they have there down sides
I own a friesian and a cob and many people say they have good attiudes
But trust me they still have an attitude like any other horse so its narsty of the way you discribe them cause come of it the tbs are not the most pretty or intelligent of animals !!! so you cant really say id are
i love them

You'd have to ride him because he's deceptive - actually very light in the hand & responsive to the aids it's just his tendancy to open his mouth if I get the contact slightly too set that makes him look strong. Seriously he's one of a very few horses that I can comfortably ride without gloves & once he's working I can give the contact away in any pace without his outline or rhythm changing - not possible with a leaning horse!

On second thoughts maybe you better hadn't ride him - he'd know you didn't like him & he's quite capable of returning the sentiment. You may well get a floaty feeling for a while but it wouldn't be in the contact & it would come to a sudden end! Plus if you came to the yard on a busy day & said he was ugly you'd have half the yard up in arms, that horse has his own fan club

I'm glad you've taken my teasing in good spirit...it really isn't the best picture of you and your horse though - you need to discipline your photographer

I didn't specifically say HE was ugly either....

So is your mare doing any ploughing matches this year ?

Not quite yet. I thought I might break her first.
My father would approve though - he always asks when being shown any horse, whether it can pull a plough.

S I often look for your posts because they give me a giggle so I was hardly going to take offence, if I was really put out I'd have ignored you

I don't have many photos of me riding to choose from but maybe I should at least learn to use photoshop to block out my face
blush.gif
. Any attempts at disciplining the photographer will probably mean no more pics so a bit of a no-no, maybe I could try a reward system for good shots though? I think my chocolates would be fairly safe!

ohhh i wanna add a piccie!! she's not mine though!! i do ride her and am looking at putting her in foal this year!! she's 16.1 Sire is Hangon Johnny, dam Olewydden

To be fair - he is rather strong... and rather ugly.... and tends to take against certain individuals - particularly those who worship the Devil!

Ischa, I am sorry, but I am going to put you on Ignore-this-User. If you can't do me the courtesy of attempting to make your communication clear, I don't see why I should waste my time trying to decipher your posts.
Nothing personal, I'm sure you have a valid point of view, if only I could work out what it was....

Thanks for reminding me, I haven't done the deed yet.
I am happy to discuss anything with anyone here...and haven't any history of problems with you.
Tips for the future - see if you can get some help with literacy - many people struggle due to dyslexia or other learning difficulties. There is no shame attached to it, and I have worked with many students with such difficulties.
The difference is, that no-one pays me to read your posts, and therefore I choose to block you.

Ischa, the concept of Ignore-this-User is that I can't read the contents of your post (no change there
wink.gif
) and therefore any 'narsty' (PMSL) comments you chose to make are like smoke in the wind.
S

do you really think i give a monkeys and that do u speak to anyone in a good manner or have you never heard of it

why should i ship out at the end of the day im probley more mature then you and her put together and the end of the day if she going to make narsty comments to other people and me she has got to exept them back so how bought you ship out

OMG Shilisdair, you come out of your hole occasionally like a baited badger. You are naughty and you know you are completely wrong about Irish Draughts. They must sense the taxidermist in you (I expect hedgehogs told them about you).

Ischa is a very nice person and although she may spell imperfectly, you must not criticise her - after all none of us is perfect (well I am, but that's different).

Everybody should know by now that you are an evil witch who pulls arms back into their sockets when they are dislocated. You should come with a Government health warning "Reacting to a Shilasair post could damage your mental health".
