Is a drop noseband ok...

To use with a kimblewick? Toto doesn't get on with a flash or grackle and he really likes the drop, and we're going to try a new bit on him (kimblewick) and I read in one book not to use them with a drop, although in the other books it doesn't say anything about this. Is it true?

I always beleived they weren't to be used together!!

You can't really use them together as the kimblewick has a curb chain which needs to sit in the chin groove, and it wont be able to do this if the drop noseband strap is already there

That said, some people do, and sit the curb chain above the drop strap, not correct but if it works....
