Sorry to bump this up again, but is this specific bit dressage legal as it seems to be a combination of a couple in the diagram rather than explicitly permitted?

If you look on the specific bit sites (NS) etc then they will normally say which are dressage legal.
If your horse is fussy is it because of tongue size? Or light in the hand? Just that the hanging snaffle can feel quite fixed and also does put pressure on the poll. I have only had one horse who actually liked it!

Hi Luci - thanks that's helpful - I'll go onto the site and have a look. I'm actually looking for a bit of poll pressure and have used hanging cheek snaffled successfully before but not the Happy Mouth one so it's the combination I wasn't sure about. It's for our Arab x pony so that my son can do the odd bit of dressage on him.
