is a jockey skull type hat ok for showing?

i will be doing local showing and i have a champion ventair skull and navy blue velvet cover will that be ok, my pony is a 14.2 dapple grey conemmara and i am a junior (if that makes any difference )

Normally you would want a velvet covered hat but I'm sure that your velvet cover will be fine! The main thing is to be clean and tidy! Good luck!

I have the same hat and a black velvet hat silk, never had any problems showing in them
