I only ask as a am a bit of a Wintec fan, I think the quality is excellent for the money
I have a 14hh cob who is shaped more like a native pony. He has fairly broad shoulders and a well sprung ribcage, but his back isn't actually that wide.
I recently purchased a 'Wintec Wide' and found it was a little on the large side, even with the red (wide) gullet in. The very wide panels at the back were also too broad and stuck off the sides of his back in mid-air
The NEW Wintec 500's (not the old style, have one of those for my veteran and the tree wouldn't suit cobby) look fairly similar to the 'wide's', only a little less WIDE
Is this the case? I hae heard the trees are a lot flatter nowadays!
