Extremely itchy atm? My pony is rubbing parts of his head raw but nowhere else he does have a headcollar on 24/7 but has never effected him before? He has had a reaction to the high pollen count, has that got something to do with it?
Thanks :-)

What sort of reaction to the high pollen count? Do you mean a hay fever runny nose type of thing?
I only ask because I suffer from hay fever but rather than get a runny nose and eyes etc I get very itchy where my nostrils meet my cheeks, on the top of the inside of my mouth and on my scalp - so yes it could well be linked to the pollen reaction if my experience is anything to go by. Maybe get the vet out and ask for some anti-histamines for him?

Thankyou for your reply! I have spoken to vet and he has just said to but vaseline around his nose to restrict the pollen and he is fine now where as before he just had puffy eyes and just a bit off a runny nose!
