Is anyone buying foals??

I have my gorgeous coloured colt for sale who is dressage bred, great bloodlines, amazing paces etc and have not had any calls. Just wondering if foals are selling at the mo?

Yes they are selling but only the ones that are the right type and the right price. I had almost fifty calls for my coloured colt foal and I could pick the home I thought most suitable for him. My chestnut filly however I've not had any serious calls despite her standing champion at a county show and with numerous wins at county shows under her belt. Where have you advertised? I got the best response from horse deals

yes they are! I'm looking too, going to see one later today! But in my case I spent all my money producing my own foal so only have a small budget for a companion foal. Yours sounds lush but also sounds well out of my budget!!! Good luck.

Hey, thanks. He is a dutch warmblood with good breeding, conformation, markings etc. Maybe it's because we are up in scotland. I just don't know. I haven't tried Horsemart yet so will give it a shot. Thanks.

We havn't really advertised yet but I presume there will be more chancers this year than ever before.I had a call about our Chacoa filly who someone seen on our site and he said he was a farmer looking for a potential broodmare so I refused to sell as he only wanted to keep her as a field ornament.

My friend is having same problem, she has 3 lovely babies for sale but no calls. If I had the money I would deffo buy 2 of hers as they are stunning but sadley I dont x.

I have had a few calls about my sport horse colt foal but no one has actually been to view him yet. Everyone who has enquired about him are at the other end of the country to me. Can't believe he's not been snapped up as he's very smart, a good price and will make a lovely competition horse. I'm sure once he's sold the phone won't stop ringing.
