is anyone doing the newmarket ride?

Hi - oh!! I'm so jealous, I've done it several times and loved it - Big G is a twat in a crowd, so won't be doing it again, at least not with her. Advice - leave some "petrol in the tank" for the all weather gallop, and practice standing in your stirups for looking over brick walls into stable yards, above all! enjoy !!! Dx
 
Hi - I did this a few years back - 5 of us went from my yard and we had a blast - its amazing to know that you can go flat out without worrying about the ground, whats round the corner etc. Do make sure your horse is fit enough to do the all weather gallop as well as that is AMAZING. Enjoy - its for a great cause as well.
 
thanks im so excited!!!! we are going to be as sensible as possible (im going to be jogging when supposed to be walking) so we can have a blast down the gallop and she how fast she can go, ive got her very fit!!! only 3 days!!!!
 
I wanted to but pony has bruised feet so yet another year we miss it.
Mind you hope these winds die down before the day other wise it could be extra exciting.
