Im feeling utterly awful; mortified infact!

I walk briskly for 45mins / 1 hour a day - I dont over eat / drink (anymore than anyother 22yr old) and my clothes certainly arnt any tighter.
I ride 2x a week (horse lives at home with rents whislt I work to keep him in London during the week) unless im riding out mornings for Household Cav then perhaps 5x a week.

Anyone got any loose it quick methods

aside from my Mother (used to race on flat) idea of nothing but lettuce and black coffee...
I'm 5ft 9 and I suppose a 12/14 with a bigish frame, I can feel all my ribs but I think the flab has gone on my tummy/thighs/bottom...

Yes!!! I am like a brick in the shape of a person! I do a reasonable amount of exercise (ride 5-6 times a week, walk quite a bit) although I do need to start going running again. I eat pretty healthily - hardly any fried stuff, and no takeaways.

I am 5'6", 12 on top and after buying a new skirt last week, now a 10 (yes yes yes!!!) on the bottom, well in some clothes anyway! But yet, the scales still hate me

Think it is just our higher muscle percentage that we have as horsey people that confuses the scales - people never believe how heavy I am.....

Oh poor you. I have had this problem for yonks and having reached the grand old age of 50 I have actually decided that enough was enough. Have been doing Low GI for just over a year. Have lost 2 stone and kept it off. Now going for the next stone.

It is not your quick answer but it is a way of life, means you are not hungry and works for me! I feel better than I have for twenty years, I have gone (for some reason) from being a 38dd to a 34g (my OH is over the moon about this, lol) and feel that realistically I will be able to ride my youngster without giving her a sway back at 4!!!!

Hope you find your answer

yep I'm made of lead, gained nearly 3 stone in the last 4 years without going up in clothes sizes, not even because sizes are getting larger, the actual clothes I had then still fit me! I ride every day (a pretty strenuous work out with such a lazy pony) and do dancing and walk quite a bit too. I blame muscle mass!

Think your right - no horsey people dont understand my weight because for my height I dont look huge - bit wobbly but nothing really awful - I guess idealy for fitness/height/ muscle ratio I should be round the 10stone 7lbs mark at the moment im 1stn5lbs more...
Horse is a 16.1TB and has never complained to me that im too heavy but I guess once saddled up with all boots hat and kit on he is prob carrying in excess of 13 stone.. Not that that is an enormous amount but NH racing Max is 12 stone and not really the point (rambling!)

Ive sure got my work cut out - and perhaps maybe really need to change my life style round!

It's the muscle mass. My OH's sister is almost 18, a few inches taller than me, slimmer than me (I'm a short-arsed size 10) but she's heavier than me (I'm 9st 4). She does a lot of dancing and is taking her exams to be a dance teacher. She's all muscle - and that is heavier than fat.

She's still a b*tch for being younger, taller & slimmer though

To be honest, I would ignore such things as BMI as they are a load of tosh, my bro is an ex-pro rugby player and is mega fit, theres not ounce of fat on him, yet accordding to his BMI he would be overweight! I have also been running in races and been over taken by overweight chaps twice my age.....

Wouldnt try any loose it quick methods, they dont work!

I use my lunch hour at work to go for a run. Sometimes I only do a quick 30 min scoot round the park, sometimes I will go out for an hour. Its amazing at the difference 30 mins or so 3 times a week will do. Running is great for elongating the limbs.

You sound fine to me, I'd carry on as you are!
