Is anyone else watching Horse and country tv atm?

Dressage championships are on.

Some lovely neddies but there are sooo many overbent horses... Do the basics of dressage not apply anymore? Surely simple things should be well established before asking so much more? And of course i understand that they are likely to get tense under such circumstances, but some of these horses are VERY over bent and no one seems to find anyting wrong with it any more, it's not being mentioned anyway.

I liked that wellington masterplan (doubting now- was it masterpiece?) who's just been on. Not the best test, but he's a nicely built horse and obviously had a to work a bit harder than the others with mile long legs.

How did Maria end up 3rd?? Her horse kept breaking in the passage/piaffe... i thought it was a bit of a messy test really and there were plenty better :s
