From watching the whole programme I don't think they did have guns. They trapped and snared all the other animals. I guess that was the kindest and quickest method of killing the horse that the knew.

Ugh, that was not nice to watch. Infact, it was terrible. But what i think we have to understand is that this is their way of nife, they do not see horses the same as us.

I don't agree with the killing of the horse one little bit, but its their way of life i suppose

If that was aimed at me - yes, I do think she was still wimpery. If I was one of those men I wouldn't want somebody squealing and crying while I was trying to go about a task like that as quickly as possible, it would be distracting. It wasn't pleasant but there you are, life is brutal - if you lived in the wilds of Siberia and had mostly horse meat for food, you would have to be able to kill one.
