Absolutely starving at the moment???
Otto is getting three meals a day still, as he has gone ribby again (stressing whilst we were away at Christmas
) so is almost being fed twice the recommended amount. He isn't doing anymore exercise than normal, in fact given the snow he had been making do with romps around the farm, until the other day. And he isn't burning any extra energy keeping warm, as the house is toasty!
Yet he seems to be starving
He is constantly trying to break into his feed bin (something he very rarely does) and pinching anything he can get his mitts on
.
Then today when we were out for our walk in the woods, he was fixated on the bag of treats in my hand!
This is the dog that has NO interest in treats whatsoever and will spit them out in his haste to run off. Today he was belting back whenever I called him, sitting bolt upright in front of me and staring at my face. If I couldn't get the bag open quick enough he would start performing his repitoire of tricks
