Is anyone else's horse.........

You should have seen the floor last night when I brushed Hannah (she was a mud ball and it needed doing!) There was so much hair on the floor that it looked like she had been clipped.

Yep...I noticed that Trike was moulting when i groomed him last night !

Bo hasn't got any hair left though.....i clipped it all off a couple of weeks ago....so nothing left to come out

mines hanging on to hers - although shes hardly grown her last clip out at all.

think i might do her again anyway to tidy her up though!! the less hair she has to loose the better

your obviously having better weather than us its freezing cold over here in Ireland!!none of ours have started moulting yet their clips are growing out tho so im going to have to do them again!!what a pain!!
there is nothing worse than the transition between winter and summer coats the horses always look so scruffy!!

The pony is but she looks like a yak anyway so is probably way to warm now its gone mild again. James isn't but he's such a wuss he'd be wearing an electric blanket if he could!

someone mentioned moulting last week... i was like moulting its still winter!!!
needless to say needy has proved me wrong and has got hair dropping out here there and everywhere :P

My car showed 15 degrees when I left the yard last night at about 6pm... dropped to a whole 13.5 by the time I got home :|

And yes, mine is shedding and has been for a couple of weeks. Ive had a few really good sessions and tbh, round his shoulders, he now appears to be in summer coat :|

Just hope to god february stays mild now. He doesnt grow much fluff to begin with and feels the cold terribly... will just be my luck we're in for snow :/
