Is anyone going to Eland Lodge Camp 1-3 August?

Don't worry about going, I went last year and it was BRILLIANT, we all had a fantastic time, you will love it! :)

There's a big group of us going, as we did last year. But everyone is so friendly and helpful it really makes no difference if you know anyone or not ;)

I'm going! Just starting to pack now as I know this week will go so fast. Don't worry it's really friendly there you will meet loads of friendly people. I'm Sy and my horse is called Quest, I will try and find you out and say hi. You will get split in to groups of about 4 so you will all get to know each other. See you Thursday, I can't wait!!!! Xx
 
Only just seen the other posts on here, I am really excited now too! Finally managed to sort a tent out today - I hadn't got anywhere to sleep until this morning! I'm Tamzin and my horse is called Rupert. We will be in the lower level group as using this camp as a confidence builder for us both. Looking forward to meeting you all. MissGee have you recovered?
 
I'm a lot better thanks! Still have a very painful/colourful foot and ankle but I've been back on board yesterday and today so hopefully I'll be ok!

So is everyone ready?

I rode again last night (2nd time since my accident) and had a real attack of the nerves... think my confidence has been knocked somewhat... :(
 
I've not got anything organised yet! Got loads of work to finish off first. I had huge confidence issues having had a bad fall a few years ago where I mangled my knee. I used to compete to a reasonably high level however, the first time I got back on a horse after the accident I cried the whole time (even though someone was leading me!) I'm now at the point where I feel I am ready to jump a course of xc jumps. Just set yourself realistic goals so you can achieve them and stay within your comfort zone for a while. We can all help each other along I'm sure. x
 
I seem to have huge lists of things to take but not much packed yet!
MissGee - camp will be perfect for getting back in to the swing of things with lots of people around to support you xx
 
I've still not started!! I don't even have a list - other than the one Eland sent out to us! Finish work in an hour so all systems go this afternoon!
