Is anyone struggling to sell their horse at the moment??

I'm looking through all the ads at the mo hoping to pick up something relatively cheap and all the ads seem to to be for horses 100's of miles away!!,or they've been snapped up pretty quick!
i want something about 16hh + to have a bit of fun with as my girl is 17 now and being 17hh her early active life has taken it's toll and she doesn't fit in a trailer only a lorry

I think you're right, it really depends on the area. I'm looking at the moment and I'm struggling to find a horse that isn't stupidly over priced and I don't think I'm asking for the earth - approx 15.3hh pref TB or PBA but not hugely fussy, reasonably well behaved allrounder, doesn't need to be a novice ride but equally I don't want anything that's massively hard work although I love a forward going horse. I'd prefer a younger horse (6 to 12). Can I find anything?!?! I keep reading posts suggesting there are loads of cheap horses around, but doesn't seem to be the case around me.

My mare is 15.3 TB x Hanoverian, well behaved but not complete novice (although had novices on and looks after them) she's forward going but can be left a week and be the same as if she'd been ridden the day before. She is 16 but she's very young in her mind and I'd say she has many years left in her yet...PM of your interested!
