???

I have a straight, wide bling browband for my not-coloured cob. I’m at the age where I don’t worry about what anyone else thinks ?

I don't think anyone would see the browband with the foof Rigsby has on his top knot.
Or for hacking we go for full on disco bling
Love the disco lights though!

I've told him there's a lot on the list we have to get first. But he says it'll go so well with his Viking braids hairstyle and don't I know he has marauding to be doing and he NEEDS to look the part. ?

You are a terrible influence. I didn't buy that one but only went one click further. An Easter present for Dabs ?

If you like a bit of bling with no nasty clenchers to catch the forelock, look for Mico Equestrian. She makes beautiful threaded browbands. She's on FB & Etsy.
Excuse his cut face, he'd been hedge browsing. Idiot.

Do as you very well please. As a teenager in the 90s I was incredibly lucky when my parents were able to eventually buy me a horse. He was a cob - he was fabulous! But I was always a bit ashamed, because of the attitudes of those around me (and teens are just so easily influenced, aren't they! I wish I could slap myself!).

Anyway, in 'those days' (hah!) it was totally ridiculous to think of putting a Whitney stripe rug on anything so coarse as a cob! I would have LOVED one, but no - unwritten rules. I remember picking up a breastplate at a sales once and it had a white backing - got some looks and words about putting THAT on my cob!

I spent so long worrying about what others thought, and about what was 'right' and 'wrong', I didn't get many of the things I would have liked. I'm older now and maybe not wiser, but I absolutely care less. The 'rules' are less set in stone than they were - but even if they weren't, I think I'd just buy whatever I damn well pleased and enjoy it :) Go bling that cob.

There's nothing new in the world. Scithian horse in battle dress, c. 3000 BC:

Oooh eek... I had the uncanny valley thing with that horse and then realised that it was on a stand, so stuffed or a model? Love the outfit though and I'm now finding it funny that the man is holding the rein to stop his fake horse from bogging off! ;)

Nowt wrong with a bit of bling on a coloured cob. Both of theses were made by a lovely lady, might not have been on here, lives in Hungary, her horses were stolen?

Both helpfully hid the line of colour, which is not straight.

Very pretty. I remember that lady and her move to Hungary years ago. Still think about her and the horses that were stolen.
