Is "Catlips" still open?

Hi not been there in about 15years!! - Used to be a great place for a bargain.

Its about 1hr 30mins away from me now .... Is it still open ? Has anyone been recently?

It is still open not been for a while thought but know a few friends who have been recently, I think it is closed Friday but I could be wrong I could double check for you.

I think it may be open for a short while on Fridays as that is the only day I normally get off where I can get away from home

I doubt the driveway has been resurfaced in the years since you were there last so I hope your car has good suspension and ground clearance as the potholes are a tourist attraction in themselves!
 
I was there about 3 weeks ago and they have attempted to resurface the pot holes!!!

Now don't get me wrong, there are still potholes, but you can no longer fall in them and get lost!

However, make sure you have plenty of time…. i nipped in to get another pair of jods for my son… i was third in a queue of 4 people… I waited for 50 min to be served before having to leave as i had to be back for a school pick up. SHe was still dealing with the person in front of me. :(
 
^^ agree with this, have waited nearly an hour to be served many a time there!
Fab place if you need something cheap!
 
Closed Sundays and doesn't open until 3pm on Fridays. Potholes aren't too bad at the mo but winter is coming so won't be for much longer! I keep one of my horses there so easy for me to pop in to do my shopping :-) I do find it best to write a list of what I need though.
 
If you mean weekend times it opens at 9am on Saturday, not sure on closing time as when I used to go if daughter wasn't ready to be outside catlips door by 9 I refused to take her.. to frightened a queue would have formed by 9.02 and I'd have missed me lunch. Never used to open on Sunday though.
