Just wondering.

My Saffy dishes a bit but her mother does not. I don't know who or what her daddy was, so was just wondering if she might have inherited it from him or whether it's just a one off.

She's only 3. I'm hoping it might get less obvious when she starts working.

I'm not certain that it is, my last homebred boy dished with one leg slightly, his mum and dad were straight movers. Sometimes as they muscle up and mature with good farriery it can become less noticable, but they will always dish. It shouldn't stop you doing anything other than top level showing really, unless the dishing leg flails about so much it strikes the other leg. Lots of top level performance horses have legs that go all over everywhere!:)

It could be related to an injury or a defect from the presentation in the womb and presents as a conformational fault. Our WB dishes from an injury as a yearling but it does not affect his ability to jump.He has natural balance shoes which help.
