She's also grown almost two inches (14.2hh July 08, now almost 15hh) so yours should grow more yet!

My instructor shows Welshies!

She says there are 2 different types of welshes aparently, the more modern welsh (similar to the hollyberrys) which are more light weight and slighter boned etc
then there are more traditional welshes (like your boy) who are heavier bigger built welshes.
the problem is some judges prefer modern types and some prefer traditionals.......... it really depends on the judge!
I prefer traditionals, but iv always like chunkier men!

i don't think he is plain, i really like him but then again it all depends on the judge. at the inhand show we didn't do very well because the judge liked hunter types so even though it was a riding club horse class everything placed was the chunkier type. it all depedns on the judge.
