that I was having a nosy at the video of some of the lots up at Goresbridge this week and one lovely grey horse caught my eye, I looked it up in the catalogue and it's a mare by Grange Bouncer who I chose to put my mare to and now have a yearling by

Oh very nice. As you say what a lovely attitude that young horse has. Not phased/over excited/silly. I like it a lot and looks like it will be very nice indeed after a little schooling. Thought it was very bold going into the water. Are you sure you havent got room for an extra little one?

Don't encourage me!! She's a typical Grange Bouncer, very sane aswell as talented, she looks like she's hunted as she's really looking at where she's putting her feet and like you said, very brave for a 4 yo. I have seen some lovely offspring of his out this year, and my own boy is looking quite nice too so I'll just have to wait til he's grown up

!!

Looking through the catalogue there are some very nicely bred horses, a 4 yo by the same sire as Parkmore Ed and Kennedy Equestrian have sent up a good few, which are all probably quality animals. Repeat again, must NOT go to Goresbridge!!

I'm really not sure bebe, on the private market horse prices are crazy over here at the moment, some people are looking for ridiculous money for fairly average animals, while there are some quality horses going for very reasonable amounts

, look at any of the websites www.donedeal.ie www.irishhorsetrader.ie . At the sales, you are likely to get a bargain, like I said from what I've heard the prices this week are pretty low so far, but the best animals do reach top prices. I think it depends on the foreign buyers tbh, they always say that the average price goes up when there are a lot of english over

! Next week there's 5 days of 3 year olds so I'd say there might be some bargains then. The results should be in the paper at the weekend so I'll let you know what the mare goes for, probably some ridiculously low price and I'll be raging I didn't go!
