Bought a new horse on the weekend but can't bring it to my yard until the end of July... (strict isolation policy for new horses and currently there are others already in)

A lovely 16.2 5 year old papered KWPN who's currently jumping at Disco level

Having lost my beautiful boy a month ago after owning him for 24 years I am for the first time in my life - a non horse owner!!

I can tell you now that it is possible to miss going up twice a day, fly bites, early mornings, late nights, soaking hay, sweeping yards and cleaning p*ssy rubber matting!!

Rant over - back to work..

Is it August now?! Huh..

He sounds lovely!! So frustrating about the yard policy but its probably for the best and you can enjoy a couple of weeks of summer sun before horsing again! :)

Working too hard to pay for him to have time to enjoy the sun!! :p

Ain't that the truth. I went from two horses to none in five months and ended up wandering round the yard asking 'What do normal people do to fill their time?'

Roll on the end of July!

I know! I have an immaculate clean house, no washing, friends and family are finding it odd that I'm turning up at their houses/pubs not in my wellies...

Very strange times!
