Is it Benson21 who's been in the accident reported by H&H?

how awfull, bad enough being injured yourself but to know you'll never see your horse again - it does't bear thinking about. my thoughts are with her
 
I have posted a thank you on here for everyone, but yes, it was me in the accident. I am finally home after almost 3 weeks in hospital, I have broken a vertenrae in my lower back whichj has been operated on so now I am full off rods and screws.
Benson sadly shattered his hind leg, and died, quickly and peacefully of internal injuries, within minutes of the accident.
I am lucky enough to be told that I should be able to ride again, but I feel its just too soon to make that decision.
Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts and words, it means so much.
Rest in peace my darling darling boy, I will never, ever forget you. xxxxx
 
Poor you - and poor old Benson. I'm glad he went quickly and peacefully although the circumstances leading up to it were so awful.

There's plenty of time to make a decision about riding again and it's great news that you will be able to consider it. Time is a great healer both of physical and mental trauma.

I wish you the smoothest of recoveries.
