Ok strange question yes but am just looking for options if vet does say Pickle won't be back for a while, as am booked on a 3 day summer camp which I have already paid a deposit for.

Do you think i'd ever be able to find something to take? Saw a RS that rented horses by the day but its was HUGELY expensive.

Ideally *fingers and toes crossed* I'll have Pickle back though.

You can take Zoomy if you want

I would hate for you to miss out!

There are lots of people who do hunter hirelings etc. Not sure where you are but I used a lady called Caroline who works through a riding school..........it escapes me at the moment but it is in Surrey and I have her number.

Am in East Sussex and nope don't know a huge amount of people with horses off my own yard and none of them could come.

Yes Caroline does rent them out, I know one girl who rented one for a sponsored ride when her share horse went lame the day or so before. She also does hunting where she puts you on a nice experienced horse for your first time out and looks after you etc. My OH is taking riding lessons at Albury

Am Very touched by HHO! have had multiple offers of horses, think most would be a bit far but the fact people would do that is lovely.

What about asking the instructors who run the camp? They may have students who would be delighted for their horse to have 3 days of lessons with their instructor. Or, the instructor(s) might have one they may let you ride.

Hopefully your horse gets well in time! Lucky you who are going to camp, how exciting! :-)
