Do I have a sign over my head saying "Mess me about, it'll be fine" ?

Tuesday, prospective buyer came to view a filly. Liked her, sorted out a price, gave me a deposit and arrange to deliver this weekend. I couldn't get rid of them, they looked at the foal, played with the puppies, told me their life history, three hours they were here.

Wednesday morning got an email saying she wanted the foal too, okey dokey, fine by me. That evening another email saying not the filly, just the foal, I am a bit hacked off but still OK and tell her fine, sorry about the filly etc. This morning, she doesn't want the colt afterall but wants the filly again.

Do other people get messed about like this, or is it just me?

If she changes her mind again I will be inclined to keep the wretched deposit!

How frustrating, but look on the good side, at least she hasn't said she doesn't want either (yet!!??)

My husband says that too, the voice of reason, and she is offering a good home from what I can see. Me, on the other hand? I just want to say "Well sod off then" and do the cutting off nose to spite face thing pointless, but it makes me feel better.

There you go then. I know it can be most frustrating, but if she (or he, which ever they decide) have a loving home for life, then its worth the hassle!!
