been expecting it all day and it`s not arrived yet, but, seeing that you have it,it`s prob on the way here now(wilts/glos)

we've had a terrential down pour... whilst i feel mean on my poor wimpy TB i did go up after tea to go and put his rain sheet on so he will still be nice and dry (although will still be sulking under a tree somewhere

we got the wind but no rain in wilts at the mo lol, but even if we had the rain I'd still be evil and leave them out!! they are all fat chubsters who would probably get wedged in the doorway if i tried to put them in

Yup unfortunately had torrential rain, my poor big DWB boy was soaked to the skin and shaking coming in so he's wrapped up in his rug in a nice warm dry stable with lotsa haylage!!! Felt so guilty! It was lovely bloody weather over the weekend! So annoying! Even had to rescue a friend's TB as he was shakin like mad. What the hell are horse's doing being stabled in beginning of september? Isnt winter long enuf! x

I just got my boy in to his stable after a late lesson and cooling him off when it began raining hard. Glad he's in at nights now, we've limited grazing and he's prone to cracked heels. He seemed happy and content munching his feed and hay!

Just make sure you don't send any more rain this way.........................I'm starting to worry MQ & I may been infected by your weather when we were down your neck of the woods!!!!!

Nope mine are out and will stay out until end of October - both are very itchy hairies and no way are they going in the stable to itch and rub the precious mane and tail away until the mild SI goes for the winter.

If it get really cold and wet they can have their rain sheets on - and this is only as we don't have much shelter in the fields from the elements.
