or do you feel akward riding in front of certain people

i passed a nice comp. place today

but my best friend jumps there (affiliated)
but there is unaffiliated classes there; mum said i should have a go

but i dont want to go incase she is there and with all of her sjing friends

i dont mind riding infront of other friends, just not her :S

ive ridden one of her horses in front of her though and was fine; i just dont want to ride my nag infront of her.
but she said she trusts my riding which was why i could ride one of her ponies

im sure id be ok after a while

I don't like competing in front of certain people but they're aquaintances rather than friends, i don't think i'd ever have a problem riding in front of my best friend otherwise they wouldn't be my best friend. is it her or her friends you're worried about?

No I know that feeling well..........
My friend keeps her horses at a very well known yard where they dressage to a very high level. She has offered to give me some lessons on her beastie as I really need to get riding again properly. What puts me off is that the other peeps ride really well etc - I ride like a sack of spuds ! I know enough to get by and hunt but don't do the technical stuff.
So I kept putting it off.TBF the peeps there are really nice and professional and have been nothing but encouraging.
We all have to start somewhere . You should have a go,I think you will be concentrating on your round so much you won't have time to think about them.

i dont know

shes never made any comments about my riding so i dont know why im so bothered

its probably her friends. but i dont think shed actually have chance to watch me sooo

i think its because shes ridden at poys and scope and is the countys top junior sjer...
