Is it me or is this REALLY cheap??

My cynical instinct is to be suspicious too! Ad doesn't say an awful lot...wonder what their not saying?? Although I think if I was looking I'd make a phone call to find out more
 
It does seem cheap.
May just be the owner wanting shot of the horse before it really gets into winter/because of a lost job ect or may be something iffy going on.
I tend to assume it's not quite right untill proven wrong

I reckon they have taken the cheap, under 3K H&H add - with those adds you have a very limited word count so difficult to get across a true meaning. However I reckon the last part of add is indicating horse being sold for hacking & dressage which I would strongly suspect injury in past, hence price.
 
Did no-one read my post or has everyone got me on UI?

In this week's H&H, page 90, left hand side, there is an ad, same photo, same phone no. It says the horse has had a year off and is now sound. So, the horse must have had an injury and may not even be back in work.
 
if you read the add correctly......although it says the horse has bsja winnings...it then says dressage or hack horse...so as marmalade says....i suspect this horse has had some sort of tendon injury that means that it can no longer continue in its current career of jumping.....why dont you phone and ask
