For horse owners to be constantly worried about the weather? G is in Lw these last few days as it's been chilly and rainy, this morning it was still chilly, now I'm sat here praying it doesnt warm up or i'll have to go back out and de rug, then re rug is it turns again.
I find myself quizzing people about the weather "do you think it'll warm up today?" "I heard it was going to rain next week". And the look at me asif i'm mad.
Years ago I used to chuck ponio out with a NZ on in the winter but from march onwards he was naked. I didnt give it a second thought. We had a thick NZ or nothing. I'm sure the companies have made all these new fangled rugs just to trick us that the horses NEED them and so trick us into buying them.
I am actually sitting here wishing they made a super light light weight rug........
