Is it ok to ride?

Hi everyone. My farrier is coming out on tuesday to shoe my horse. The problem is his toes are a little long. Only gone a little over 5 weeks. Only his heals are touching the ground. We only hack don't do much troting on the roads, should i still ride him?

As long as you don't go too fast and are careful about the surfaces you ride on, I can't see a problem with it.
