Is it poisionous?

Sorry if this post sounds a bit silly and I sound ignorant but I was taking my pony for a walk the other day (she's lame so can't be ridden but needs to have a little walk) there was this pear tree and lots of pears were on the floor and she tried to eat them I didn't let her because I didn't know if they were poisionous to horses, just wanted to know?

No they're not, most horses love them.

Mine prefer pears to apples, probably because they are sweeter than all the cooking apples I keep feeding them!

does anyone know if blackberries are poisonous to horses?

I hope not as mine help themselves of the bushes! They love them. Otto comes in everyday with a purple nose!
