Is it possible to find the horse I want for £4k?

I think he might be perfect for you then.....I love his face - and look at the money you would save.

PS Donkey would suit you down to the ground, but is not for sale

Are ex-racehorses good in the hunting field? I'd go for a tried and tested hunter, maybe something that hates dressage. You can pretend you want to do it and beat them down on price!!

I have a few nice horses in around that sort of height that can all be 4k to a good home, although are advertised as slightly higher (around the 4.5 bracket)
We have a yard page on horsequest under Chessington Horses, and have a couple more in stock that would also fit the bill very nicely.
If your interested (and I take it your fairly local to me as your name is Guildford) you can call me on 07977 431 829. We are in Chessington in Surrey.
I have lots of videos and pics of the horses and most of them have been out hunting (we do hirelings for the Surrey Union and so are out hunting 3 x a week so they all get out).

Would you we willing to take on an ex-racer who had hunted and team chased previously? Blemish on leg but completely sound, same trainer/owners since yearling, no vices or old injuries bar a blemish on his leg?

Loads of Ex point-to-pointers and National Hunt horses end up as hunters. Pointers have to qualify on the hunting field anyway, so would already have hunted at least x6 times per season.
