Is it really that unusual?

I have been after a dressage saddle for ages now, Is it that hard to find a 17 or 17.5" in an x wide. Doesnt matter what make it is. I cant find one anywhere. Any help much appreciated x

WOW? They fit anything! I **love** my WOW. I've got jumping & dr flaps & it's done so much for my lower leg position. V secure in either discipline. It's also 'fixed' my wrecked back cos it takes the jar out of riding.

what part of the country do you live in? I had one of Martin Wilkinsons own make dressage saddles for my large warmblood who was 17.2 x wide. It was the most comfortable saddle I have ever sat in and fitted my horse well. Have a look on his website. Also depends on how much you want to spend!

Have you tried the saddles direct website for second hand? Dressage saddles are usually quite wide anyway because of the way dressage horses build topline, so a bit mystified by your post. If all else fails have you thought of going treeless?
