Is it safe?

My horse has ring worm......

My boy is in in a field with 2 other colts, YO had vet up today to see them and she says they have ringworm, I wasnt there, so I only know what I am told, apparently my boy is the carrier which is why he only has a bit under his eyes.

I have been looking on the internet for treatments and have come across a fair few people saying Daktacort is a good treatment for it, this or Daktarin is what the YO is also going to use. I have never had to deal with ringworm before and I dont want to use anything on him that could cause him any problems.

Is Daktacort and Daktarin safe to use? Has anyone every used either of them?

I would call your own vet and see what they advise since you weren't there.
I have had a pony before that came to me with it but to be honest I dont think they can tell you who exactly had it first?? I would definitely call your vet, tell them what you ahve been told and see what they say!!
