This is very late so apologies, I'm away with work and have only just managed to get a connection.

Took ginger beast to Moulton for the 90cm and 1m, if I was feeling brave, seem to have a mental block about discovery height even tho I PN event, very odd!

Anyway, 90cm was ok, just 1 down, but it was the most ridiculous thin, lw wooden pole I have ever seen, just brushed it as it was on a related and down it went.....

Decided to brave the 1m and I'm soooooo glad I did!!! He jumped like a star, absolutely no spooking and didn't touch a thing, I was so pleased and was absolutely beaming!! Forgot to put my foot down in the JO as everything was going so nicely so didn't get placed but no worries.....we managed our 1st BSJA double clear at 1m!!

He finally feels like he's grown up, normally quite a neurotic character that is scared of everything.....is it really normal for an ID x TB to decide he's grown up at the grand old age of 10???

Ah thats great, well done.
Well I'm still waiting for my TB x Welsh cob to grow up and hes 13 now, so be very thankful if he has at 10!!!
 
Oh well done!!

Cat was IDxTB, & he only came into his own when he was 10 or 11, & the last few shows he did at Newcomers before he got ill were really astonishing. All of a sudden, it all seemed to click. I think the IDs are on a bit of a slower burn comp-wise!

Well done you, its a shame you didnt get placed but he jumped really well... the height wasn't a problem at all.

It was great to meet you and Nikki, are you going to the next one at Moulton??
 
From the round i saw (1mtr open) you have every right to a self indulgent post. As i said at the time, a pleasure to watch.

1st event was supposed to be Stafford but I've decided to do some XC training instead with Lucinda Green as I have't had chance to do any schooling yet....also think it would be more beneficial!!

Sooooo, I think I'll do Milton Keynes (which is local) PN as 1st outing then Keysoe then Aston, it helps me and ginger beast to do a few close together to get back into the swing of it all!!
