Is it too late to clip?

Well I planned on clipping on 1 December with the hope that I could do one full clip then just a trace in January to keep her going and then...well...it snowed!

So I haven't clipped but my girl is now back in work and has managed to grow a coat that would make a woolly mammoth proud. So is it too late to clip?

No, i thought it was but i hear thats a lot of tosh. Mine was clipped last week and im so pleased with it!

Will be having two clipped in the next week or so - one was clipped in November and one hasn't been clipped this season

I was told many many many ( jesus that many) yrs ago its ok to clip if not bringing summer coat through . I would say go ahead and clip and it be fine

One of mine is moulting like mad and definitely telltale signs of summer coat so have decided to leave it now. She was last clipped in December is isn't tooooooo embarrassing(but still quite floofy!)

If she is in work and getting hot, clip her, the summer coat will work itself out- in the summer, better that than she gets a chill or skin problem from sweating through the hair
