Is it too late to clip?

I've got a hairy ID x TB who is now back into work after various reasons. We are on week 3 of walking and she's starting to get quite sweaty after our rides. She had a trace clip in October which hasn't completely grown back, so I'm considering another trace clip....we will start trotting properly the week after next but am concerned I will ruin her summer coat...thoughts?

If she hasn't started moulting you should be ok, I clipped a couple of weeks ago and don't tend to clip any later than February but I know people who do and it hasn't ruined their summer coat

I know people that clip all year round, sounds like she will be more comfortable if she's been clipped again especially if you are increasing her workload!

I'm clipping mine for the last time tomorrow and everything is coming off

I'm doing a full clip on mine this afternoon. She has a growing out trace at the moment but is feeling the heat.
