Is it too late to re-seed?

As title- is is too late to re-seed a resting paddock?

Or should I wait until spring?

I wouldn't, the chance of a cold spell or frost is too high.

Ok thanks....its pretty mild at the minute but yes you're right- going on the last few years we could be knee deep in snow in a fortnight

Depends how desperate you are, the first lot of grass I ever put down went in in the first week of December, it was absolutely fine and meant we could get using it far earlier than if we'd waited till spring.

The most recent lot of grass I put down went in in the first week of October and most of it has only just germinated due to the dry weather we've been having. If you have the grass seed handy I'd be tempted to chuck it in and hope - or hedge your bets and do half of it.
