Is it worth it?

I'm looking in to getting a horse on loan as I don't have the funds to buy another one, and have found a lovely tb localy. The only problems are:
1) it has no tack
2) it has been out of work for 8 months
3) the last girl loan it blew its mind with protein and sugar (will this have affected it long term schooling wise?)

What do you think is it worth trying it out or should I bide my time and see if I can find anything else?
Any advice much appreciated

ooo i have a lovely TB for loan with tack (GP saddle & racing saddle) currently in work, bombproof and easy to do. if you want to PM me if you decide against this one haha

You've got nothing to lose imo. You can always say "thank you but he's not really what I'm looking for", or you could end up saying "I'll take him". You never know until you try!

It's always worth a look, but really I would bide your time.

If the last loaner fed it incorrectly, I would assume it was being fed correctly now? Sounds like a bit of an excuse for it possibly being a crank.
