entering a native in a best turned out class, ?? don't want to do M&M now as he is to plain and ugly to stand a chance and we will look silly, but I have sen't off an entry fee and don't want to waste it!! the only other classe we can do is best turned out.....so may swap to this - or should i just go for a nice hack instead!!

there is no reason why you cant do it and u could well win as long as your turned out correctly....go for it!

Yes have a go at best turned out but if it's the chestnut in your siggy he doesn't look too plain and ugly to me

With a bridle that flatters his head and a saddle that shows off his shoulder I'd also have a go at
M & M.

Do both! *nods* Genie's 'plain' (according to the breed standard) and she's won both M&M and Turnout classes! Many judges now judge turnout according to how well your horse is turned out according to their type or breed.

Another vote for doing both! No way is he 'ugly', he's a cracking cob. (assuming we are talking about the gorgeous boy in your siggy?!)

i agree they seem to judge best turned out on how good your horses appearence is rather than what breed it is at one of my shows a fell pony won it so i would say go for it and do the m&m class
