Is it wrong to have a bit of bling on this beautiful boy?!

This boy is due to make his dressage debut in the spring :) granted its unaffiliated walk & trot test and a prelim test (see how we get on between here and then!)

I know he will be showing in the summer so therefore will be in a plain bridle but for dressage i would like to plait him up :p he has a black hunter bridle with a plain noseband but i wanted some subtle bling - i was thinking this:

Then when we get better this:

Here he is in his natural state!

Can i see your subtle bling on natives and cobs please :D

I have tbs but I love my bling on my mare and she wears it at the dressage we do although just local prelim level.

She has a browband and noseband with swarvoski crystals and i love it plus many compliment on it as subtle and not cheap looking.

Those are nice bling pics above in the links. Go for it :)

I LOVE that black one, would look so nice on your boy! Nice and classy. I really wish they did a brown version to go on my brown bridle, I'd snap one up!

i think he would really suit some bling, also i highly recommend the ebay seller in the first link, saddlery4u, i am no way connected with them however I do buy all my horses patent bling from them and the quality is amazing and super fast postage too!

Genie's bling that she got from my wonderful HHO Secret Santa! I have never really been 'into' bling but I must admit I do really like it on her.

OOOo love looking at all this bling!
Will get the black patent one i think and take a look at the links with all the sparkly ones!

I have 2 browbands from Equiture and the quality is just amazing! I adore them! The girl that runs it was really helpful with colours etc as well. I got the mega bling browband as I love that sort of stuff but a lady on the yard is going to order more of her subtle range!
Tbh I wouldn't go anywhere else for a browband now :)

I have ordered some blingy bits and i have a nice curved browband so am planning to decorate that :) never done the crystal ones before but used to make the ribbon type. :D

Personally I prefer to see Natives in plain tack no bling, they are beautiful enough a case of less is more.

This. ^^^^^^^

Except I'd it extend it to say: I have never yet seen a horse made more beautiful by gratuitous bling. Only less so. Especially those God-awful droopy browbands. For me, they wreck the naturally graceful lines of a horse's face and make them all look like they've had to borrow a bridle belonging to an aesthetically-challenged hippo. Not even Totilas could pull it off. ;)

Nugget La Poneh, that's actually adorable! ;)

Pigeon: uuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrgh...

I recently joined the bling crowd. My pony doesn't suit bling (he has a bright blue plastic bridle instead!), but my new mare does! :D
