Is my 6yo cob likely to fill out more?

My lovely cob is rising 6 - she isn’t as chunky as hoped and I wonder whether cobs still tend to fill out at this age, or if their growing is done by that age?

My eldest is not a cob, but a very similar type - finished not just filling out, but actually GROWING at 10.

Yes, my mare was pretty weedy at 6yo by 8yo she was and still is built like a hippo ??

Yup. Mine went from a MW to XXXW saddle between six and eight. All the lovely rugs I bought her at six were miniskirts by eight.

Thanks everyone - I adore her and she is pretty perfect - but I worry she may be too small long term, I am ok weight wise but poss a tad tall, so I guess this means hang on and it should all be fine!

My friend bought a 5yo cob/Frisian and felt safe that at 16hh it wasn’t going to go much bigger. He’s now 17/17.1 and she’s mortified ?
