introducing Flash, my doggy.

i don't venture on AAD very much, but thought maybe i would come and say hello... as i'm having a sofa day!

anyway, here is flash, my 7yr old Boxer. he's the nicest, most gentle dog i've ever known. he's exceptionally laid back.

anyway, lok at his sagging eyes... when he was a puppy the vet said it's normal and he'd grow into his skin... he never did. she said it's nothing to worry about... so i'm not worried, i just think it's hilarious.

Hello! *waves* Of course he's not normal, he's a boxer!

He's a gorgeous boy, no idea about the eyes - but I agree, if the vet isn't worried, I wouldn't be either! I think they're lovely IMHO, sort of like those harlequin clowns

Enjoy your sofa day, think I'll have one too!

i love boxers (the dogs, not the men's pants... although i do quite like them too...)

fire is roaring here too. flash has practically climbed into it. we have to move him back when it starts to smell of burning fur...

love sofa days. OH isn't so impressed, he likes 'doing' stuff. ergh. he's dying to go outside and chop some wood up. crazy.

he's got excessive skin on his lower eyelids leading to ectropian. it's not uncommon in boxers - it makes them more prone to conjunctivitis as the eye is more exposed and that saggy eyelid can trap dirt etc. one of mine has sl saggy eyes, the other doesn't.
