Hi everyone,

This might be difficult to diagnose but I’m hoping for some opinions anyway. I ordered a bag of Baileys no.4 online and I think it smells a little bit off. I’ve never ordered no. 4 before so I’m not sure how it normally smells, but mine smells strong and ever so slightly sour. The bag split open when I brought it inside (I think it was bashed around when it was delivered to me) so I can’t check for tears. The pellets look absolutely normal, so I’m not sure if I’m just being a worry wart. If anyone has any opinion, please let me know! Thank you <3

As far as I know the pellets should feel dry, have a consistent colour, a shiny outer layer and not crumble on pressure. They should also smell good; a bit like toast. If you’re concerned I would also advise you give Baileys a call.
